At the Hydrogen Technology Expo 2025 in Hamburg, GF is showcasing its current portfolio of components and services for the hydrogen industry. Among other things, the company is presenting the 565 shut-off valve, which is now available cleaned for use with oxygen. The valve is double-packaged and delivered with chemically inert lubricants to meet the high purity requirements of modern electrolysis systems. It is designed to enable reliable control of ultrapure water and to support the efficiency and service life of electrolyzer systems.
Another highlight at the trade fair is the weldable Progef Plus piping system made of polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H). This system is designed for applications involving ultrapure water and is characterized by corrosion resistance and low leach-out values. According to GF, the use of these materials can extend the service life of electrolyzers. The company is also presenting components for type IV liners for hydrogen storage.
The products and solutions are also being presented at the booth virtually in a 3D simulation called the Hydrogen World. In addition to components, GF offers planning and engineering services. These include system design, material selection, digital simulations, and training. The services are aimed at companies along the entire hydrogen value chain, from water treatment to end use.
According to its own statements, GF is a global leader in thermoplastic piping systems and brings decades of experience to the development of solutions for the hydrogen industry.
GF can be found at the Hydrogen Technology Expo 2025 in Hall B5, Booth 5H60.
