At the Hydrogen Technology Expo 2025 in Hamburg, Weidmüller is presenting several systems specifically developed for use in modern electrolysers and hydrogen plants. The main focus is on stack condition monitoring. This solution enables cell voltage monitoring up to 1,500 volts direct current (DC) in potentially explosive areas classified as ATEX Zone 2. With this, Weidmüller addresses the requirements of high-voltage networks in electrolysis systems.
In addition, the company is showcasing customised cell voltage pick-ups (CVP), which allow for individual operational protection. The 15-channel measuring unit presented requires only 11.5 millimetres of installation width and is compatible with all common communication protocols.
For automation in potentially explosive areas, Weidmüller is introducing explosion-proof M12 EX distribution boxes. These components are designed for safe and efficient use in EX zones. The portfolio also includes products with EX, UL, and CE certifications, which, according to the company, have been tested by accredited laboratories.
Weidmüller can be found at the Hydrogen Technology Expo 2025 in Hall B7, Booth 7F20.
