Envirofalk: Ultrapure Water for Electrolysers up to 100 MW

The water technology company Envirofalk has expanded its product platform Envigreenpure PtX. Until now, the series for ultrapure water supply for Power-to-X applications (PtX) covered capacities up to 5 megawatts (MW). Now, the portfolio also includes standardized designs for 20 MW, 50 MW, and up to 100 MW. According to the company, this allows projects in the capacity range between 2.5 and 100 MW to be realized on a uniform technological basis.

Modular Water Treatment for AEL, AEM, and PEM

The ultrapure water systems are designed for various electrolysis processes. These include alkaline electrolysis (AEL), anion exchange membrane electrolysis (AEM), and proton exchange membrane electrolysis (PEM). A modular concept allows adaptation to different raw water qualities and site conditions. For international projects, the systems can be executed according to standards such as DIN (German Institute for Standardization) or ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) as well as CE or UL specifications.

At the exhibition stand, Envirofalk is also showcasing a water treatment plant with networked sensors. Operating and diagnostic data are transmitted to a digital twin via IO-Link sensors and a cloud connection. This enables cross-site monitoring of operating conditions and maintenance information. Additionally, a digital platform provides plant-specific documents such as manuals and certificates.

Envirofalk can be found at Stand 7D39.
