The award ceremony took place in November 2025 as part of GEA's "Annual Supplier Summit" in Amsterdam. Bürkert was honoured for its contributions to the development of new applications, such as in the "New Food" test centres in the USA and Germany, as well as for initiatives to optimise total cost of ownership.
According to Denis Cougnet, Corporate Key Account Manager at Bürkert, the company's strategic alignment, which aligns with GEA's long-term goals, was particularly highlighted. Both companies focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability as common guidelines.
Long-standing partnership with a focus on system solutions
Bürkert has been supplying GEA with process and solenoid valves as well as customised system solutions for many years. In addition to product quality and delivery reliability, the company impressed with its global production strategy "local for local" with locations in China, India, and the USA. Engineering expertise for customer-specific solutions also played a role in the award.
Roman Gaida, Chief Sales Officer at Bürkert, sees the award as a confirmation of the company's strategy: "Our strategic focus on digital services, automation, and sustainability or a regenerative economy forms the basis. Here, we want to set new standards together with key customers like GEA."
Relevance for the hydrogen industry
Bürkert is active in the hydrogen industry as a provider of components and system solutions for fluid control.
