The developments in the electrolyzer sector are continuing in great strides. Particularly in costs, where most manufacturers have been able to achieve substantial price reductions in the recent months, even if this has not been reflected in a reduction of the final price in all cases. Løkke now heads Hydrogen Europe

The European Hydrogen Association has reorganised itself. In June 2021, Hydrogen Europe announced that Jon André Løkke would henceforth be the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Løkke succeeds Valerie Bouillon-Delporte, who had held the post since 2017.

Alpiq buys Diamond Lite

Diamond Lite, a Swiss engineering firm founded by Hansjörg Vock in Herisau in 1982, used to be something of a European office for products by American electrolyzer manufacturer Proton OnSite. That changed last summer, when it was purchased by Swiss energy services provider Alpiq Holding, based in Lausanne, on June 30. With the acquisition of Diamond Lite, Alpiq has made a strategic investment in its growth markets. (more…)
