Eva Augsten heads the editorial team of the new H2int. and HZwei. She brings over two decades of experience as a journalist in the energy transition sector. She studied Environmental Engineering and began her journalism career at the magazine Sonne Wind & Wärme, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations until 2011. Since then, she has mainly worked as a freelancer – including for H2int. and HZwei and as co-author of the book “Wasserstoff und Brennstoffzelle” published by Hydrogeit Verlag.
Science journalist Monika Rößiger is deputy editor-in-chief of H2international (H2int.) and HZwei. For years, she has mainly written about the energy transition and hydrogen, and published the book “Die Wasserstoff-Wende”. In 2023, she won the Jules Vernes Mobility Award for an article on the application areas of hydrogen technologies. She has also written non-fiction books on forests, wild animals, oceans and the brain.
Fabian Kauschke from the editorial team of our sister magazine ERNEUERBARE ENERGIEN will also support H2int. and HZwei. His focus is on the far-reaching opportunities for decarbonizing industry and transport that arise from the production and use of green hydrogen. He is looking forward with anticipation to the role hydrogen will play in energy supply in the coming years.
Sven Geitmann, founder of H2int., HZwei and Hydrogeit Verlag, will remain on board as an advisor in 2025. Hydrogen has been his focus since 1997. He has been working as an author and technical journalist since 2001 and was editor of HZwei from 2005. Even though we will now largely have to do without his articles, he will continue to support us with his experience and network in the strategic orientation of H2int. and HZwei.
Natascha Plankermann lives in Düsseldorf and works as a journalist, editor, presenter and book author as well as publisher for various media, for example for the Funke Mediengruppe and Springer Verlag. She is our expert on Oman and the MENA region, where she also conducts on-site research. Another focus of her work is on topics related to health and safety at work.
Kathrin Lewitz brings commercial and organizational expertise as well as experience in administration and marketing as a self-employed office administrator. At Hydrogeit Verlag, she worked as executive assistant and was responsible, among other things, for media partnerships, marketing and customer support. She will continue to support HZwei in these areas on an organizational level.
The agency Neonbold was founded by designers Henrike Hiersig and Robert Müller, whose paths crossed two decades ago during their design studies at the Bauhaus University Weimar. For 15 years now, they have been designing HZwei and numerous books and also took on the redesign of HZwei. They will continue to design the magazine, relying on a conceptual and minimalist layout.
Mariana Nahirna heads the Media Sales department at HZwei and H2international. As a marketing expert with an understanding of strategic marketing and customer communication, she knows how to develop effective communication and advertising strategies – for print and digital media. With her marketing expertise, she supports her clients in positioning their brands in a targeted manner and seizing new opportunities in the dynamic hydrogen sector.
