I look forward to leading our board members into the next phase of the European hydrogen market ramp-up. We will work tirelessly to advance production, infrastructure and demand in order to achieve decarbonization and strengthen European resilience.”

The board of Hydrogen Europe is composed of representatives from various sectors, including technology providers, infrastructure operators, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), industrial companies and national hydrogen associations. CEO Jorgo Chatzimarkakis said: “We are pleased to welcome the new members to our board. This is a crucial time for the energy transition, and the work of our board will help ensure that hydrogen plays a key role in it.”

With the new board, the organization aims to intensify cooperation with policymakers and industry in order to further advance the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy in Europe.
