Eight industrial companies aim to accelerate the ramp-up of hydrogen-powered trucks in Europe. At the IAA Transportation, the companies Bosch, Daimler Truck, Volvo, Toyota, Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, TEAL Mobility, and MB Energy presented their joint plans.

New H2 Filling Station in Langenhagen Supplies Trucks, Buses, and Cars

H2 Mobility has launched a hydrogen filling station at the Hannover Airport service area in Langenhagen into trial operation. It supplies trucks, buses, and cars with RFNBO-compliant green hydrogen. The Federal Ministry of Transport funded the project with up to 5.83 million euros.

Fraunhofer IFAM has further developed dynamic impedance spectroscopy to analyze the condition of electrolyzers and fuel cells during operation. This allows for early detection of weaknesses and better maintenance planning.

Synhelion to build large-scale plant for synthetic fuels in Morocco

The Swiss cleantech company Synhelion plans to establish a commercial large-scale plant for synthetic fuels in the southern Moroccan province of Tan-Tan. The planned capacity is 100,000 tonnes per year. A corresponding memorandum of understanding with the Moroccan government has been signed.

Power to Hydrogen and Repsol complete AEM electrolyzer pilot

Power to Hydrogen (P2H2) and Repsol have completed a pilot of P2H2's anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzer at Repsol's All4Zero innovation hub. According to the companies, the technology exceeded durability and efficiency targets and projects a system lifetime of more than 50,000 hours.
