The new non-GAAP accounting is still creating confusion. Based on non-GAAP, Plug managed to increase revenue in the second quarter to above USD 36 million. But although the USD 13 million loss that the company reported for the same period was indeed a reduction compared to growth, it continues to have a negative impact on the stock price. Innovative projects are something of a tradition at Stuttgart Airport: Echterdingen is home to several fuel cell airplane models, Baden-Wurttemberg’s first public hydrogen filling station set up in 2009 and hybrid technology field tests since 1991. Since summer of 2012, Roland Käppner had been President of McPhy Energy Germany. At the beginning of 2014, he also became Vice President of McPhy Energy S.A. In July of last year, the French company announced that it would collaborate with British corporation GKN on the development of solid-hydrogen storage systems. This August, Käppner changed jobs and has since managed business development as Global Director Hydrogen at GKN Sinter Metals, a GKN subsidiary.
