Sany Hydrogen and Putzmeister plan to build electrolysis plants in Europe and Africa

Two companies of the Sany Group are planning to jointly design and construct electrolysis plants in Europe and Africa. Each brings complementary expertise to the table.

Sany Hydrogen’s portfolio includes complete electrolyzer stacks for both alkaline electrolysis (AEL) and proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology, as well as balance of plant (BoP) components and purification systems. The company also offers containerized solutions for rapid deployment and commissioning, tailored to a wide range of project requirements. Another product is a dedicated 24 MW electrolysis test platform designed to enable testing and fast iteration of hydrogen production systems.

Putzmeister, also part of the Sany Group, specializes in the planning and execution of industrial projects in the energy and environmental sectors. The company has a strong presence in both Europe and Africa.

Beyond hydrogen production, the Sany Group’s portfolio also includes photovoltaic and wind power systems as well as battery storage solutions—allowing the group to offer integrated, one-stop energy solutions.
