Horizon Fuel Cell, headquartered in Singapore, expects to deliver around 500 fuel cell systems for heavy commercial vehicles in November. According to the company, a new daily record was achieved at one location: 25 truck fuel cells were assembled on a single production line in one day.
AI Data Centers Increasingly Use PEM Fuel Cells
The company sees itself on track to deliver fuel cell systems on a gigawatt scale in the coming years. Horizon Fuel Cell currently primarily serves the growing demand for emission-free commercial vehicles in Asia. At the same time, the company is preparing to increase deliveries to operators of AI data centers.
According to Horizon Fuel Cell, these data centers require reliable power supply solutions, for which PEM fuel cells are increasingly considered an attractive option. "The market for AI data centers is increasingly recognizing the potential of PEM fuel cells to quickly provide attractive and future-proof energy solutions," says Craig M. Knight of Horizon Fuel Cell. The company announces that it will provide further information on projects in the field of emission-free power supply in the future.
