Hydrogen Hub Rhineland invites to theme evening with NRW Minister Neubaur

The Hydrogen Hub Rhein-Kreis Neuss/Rhineland, in collaboration with the state cluster Nano.Micro.Materials.Photonics.NRW (NMWP.NRW), is organizing a theme evening on March 24, 2026, starting at 5 PM in the S-Forum of the Sparkasse Neuss under the title "Hydrogen for Structural Change in NRW – Technologies, Applications, and Value Creation." NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur will deliver a welcoming address. The keynote will be given by Peter Wasserscheid from the Forschungszentrum Jülich.

Lectures along the entire value chain

The focus is on how hydrogen technologies can be used along the value chain – from material development through production and transport to industrial and municipal applications. Representatives from Stadtwerke Neuss, Thyssengas, Speira, KCS Europe, Neoxid Hydrogen, Hydrogenea, as well as the Zentrum für Brennstoffzellen Technik (ZBT) and the Schmidt Kranz Group will give short presentations. Around 20 companies and institutes will also present themselves with information stands.

Matchmaking with Dutch H2 companies from 2:30 PM

Starting at 2:30 PM at the same location, a matchmaking event with 20 Dutch hydrogen companies will take place. This is part of the Strategic Market Program NL-Hydrogen-Hightechindustry to Germany. Participation in both events is free of charge, but registration is required. Registration at: themenabend@wasserstoff-hub-rheinland.de
