Vårgårda, a small town in the south west of Sweden, took a crucial step toward more sustainable public housing when it turned six apartment blocks into energy-independent buildings by using a combination of PV solar panels, batteries and hydrogen fuel cells.

SPI20172017 is the first year Deutsche Messe and Tobias Renz Fair, the organizer of the annual joint Hydrogen + Fuel Cells + Batteries booth in Hanover, Germany, will manage a stateside group exhibit called Hydrogen + Fuel Cells North America, the US counterpart of Germany’s industry meeting. From Sept. 10 through 13, the most important solar trade show and the largest energy storage event in North America – Solar Power International boasting 700 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees and Energy Storage International, respectively – will run in parallel at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. H2FC NAThis year will be the twenty-third in the history of the joint booth Hydrogen + Fuel Cells + Batteries at the Hannover trade show (April 24 through 28). And since the industry meeting has proved to be a good networking platform, Tobias Renz FAIR and Deutsche Messe will also organize a similar booth at the American trade show this year.
